Posted on May 3, 2022 by Lindsey Brenner

What a wonderful Houston HFES Symposium 2022! Thank you to everyone who made this event such a great, engaging experience. We were happy to share our research with everyone and to see the work of human factors and ergonomics researchers from all over Texas.

John Kang presented both a poster and oral presentation on  “Correlations between fatigue measures from various fatigue assessment methods and time on Offshore Platforms” for team EMPOWER.

Reed Smoot with team NHANCE presented “Non-invasive brain stimulation as a #fatigue countermeasure: On timing and focality.”

Harlyn Nguyen presented a poster on “Central Mechanisms during Fatiguing Exercises under the influence of Cognitive Stress” with team STEM.

Isabella Pedron, Connor Barnes, and Ashley Bailly presented a poster on “Analysis of Cognitive Personalized Emergency Medical Training Using Augmented Reality” with the LEARNER team.

The LEARNER team was also awarded the Best Poster Award at the event by the Houston HFES Committee!

The NeuroErgonomics Lab is so proud!
